Last updated: 3 June 2026
MoveToEuro (“we”, “us”) is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what we collect, why, how we use it, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR.
Who we are
MoveToEuro is the data controller for the personal data processed through this platform. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact us at [email protected].
What data we collect
- Identity & contact details — name, email, phone, nationality, date of birth.
- Application data — CV, skills, languages, education, work preferences and documents you upload.
- Immigration data — passport details, visa case information and supporting documents.
- Usage data — pages visited and actions taken, used to improve the service.
Why we process it (legal bases)
- Contract — to deliver the recruitment, visa, training and relocation services you request.
- Consent — to share your profile with prospective employers and to send you updates.
- Legal obligation — to meet immigration, employment and financial record-keeping requirements.
- Legitimate interests — to operate, secure and improve the platform.
Sharing your data
We share data only as needed to deliver the service — with prospective employers (with your consent), training institutions, embassies/consulates, and vetted service providers. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and for as long as required to meet legal and regulatory obligations, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object to the processing of your data, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and audited administrative access (every staff action taken on your behalf is logged) to protect your data.
